Round Lacquer betel box "Kun it" Made of woven and lacquered split bamboo and turned lacquered wood. The geometric panels inlaid with cut green, red and silver mirrors (hman-zi- shwei-cha) are inlaid into a gilded low relief decoration of lacquer putty (thayo).
The interior is covered with red lacquer with geometric engraving with two removable trays.
Such boxers were often presented as gifts between princes or monks of high status.
